The newly redesigned Sheraton lobby was nearly complete with one exception: the access to the future street level retail was still under construction and conveyed disturbance instead of the elegance to come.
To obscure the unsightly construction while complementing the spectacular new design of the lobby, we created a massive public artwork on the wall in a geometric pattern that felt organically connected to the sculptural 30 foot bronze screens in the center of the redesigned lobby.
The wall graphic obscured construction and created the whimsical illusion that the incomplete lobby was a finished space.
